Dr. Paula Moore was awarded her Doctorate in Medicine by LSU College of Medicine in 1988. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Baptist Health Systems of Alabama in 1991. She practiced primary care from 1992-1995 until she began to devote all of her time as a physician to the diagnosis, treatment and improvement in the quality of life in people suffering with Dysautonomia.

Dr. Moore has been married since 1986. Her husband is a retired chemical engineer and now flips houses when he is not spending time with their daughter with special needs. They have 3 grown children. Her oldest son is an elementary school music teacher in Hoover, Al. Her second son is working on his doctorate in Public Health at UAB. Her daughter Holly has special needs and enjoys following any sporting event Auburn is participating in. “War Eagles” is Holly’s text and shout on game days.

Dr. Moore enjoys the individual attention she can give to every patient every day. Unlike many research institutions that do a great job diagnosing Dysautonomia, Dr. Moore offers continued care throughout the lifetime of the patient, if needed. Continuity of care is critical in the treatment and improvement of every person with Dysautonomia. She is frequently heard saying to a patient, “It is my pleasure to be able to help you”.
